Enrollment for 2019-20, K-8
- Complete an Initial Enrollment Form for each student
- Mail, fax, email, or hand deliver form(s) to Julie Brinkmann, Enrollment Coordinator
Beacon Academy’s enrollment period is from the first Tuesday in September to Monday, February 1st at 4 p.m. (If February 1st falls on a weekend, the enrollment period ends on the Friday before February 1st.)
A completed Initial Enrollment Form is required to be included in a lottery and/or placed on the waiting list. The school office must receive the form by February 1st at 4 pm. If the 1st is on a weekend, the deadline will take place the Friday before at 4 pm. Any application received after the deadline will be placed at the bottom of the waiting list in the order that it was received. Students with siblings already enrolled at Beacon Academy have priority placement.
Most grades have a waiting list, which means forms received will be placed on the waiting list according to the date received. Our waiting list stays active the entire school year as a part of our charter school enrollment process. If a student withdraws mid-year, the next name on the waiting list is called and offered the spot. The lottery process happens every school year. The waiting list does not carry over from year to year.
Beacon Academy does not offer early entrance. Children must be 5 years old by September 1st of the school year he/she is applying for. Incoming Kindergarten students with older siblings already enrolled at Beacon Academy have priority for placement and will be placed at the top of the lottery list.
